WTB News Wordpress Theme
WTB News Wordpress Theme Informations:
WTB News is a widget ready, Adsense ready Wordpress theme. Theme has a custom control panel so you can customize the theme easily.
Theme has 2 versions:
You can change the version from the control panel.Important
Theme has a custom navigation menu for archive pages. Do not use wp-pagenavi plugin. If you already had that plugin, deactivate it before activating the theme. If you forgot to deactivate it and got an error, delete the functions.php in theme folder and deactivate the wp-pagenavi plugin. Then upload the functions.php.
WTB News Wordpress theme installation:
- Download the zip package(Download the theme from this page. It is the original one.) and extract it
- Upload the wtb-news folder to wp-content/themes
- Activate the theme from Appearance in WP admin panel
- You will see a new link called WTB News Theme Options under Appearance menu
- Enter and fill in the fields
- Save changes.
How to find a category ID?
Go to Categories under Posts menu. Put your mouse on a category name and check the url. You will see the Id at the end of the url.
How to Add a new Post:
- Enter Posts-Add New
- Write title and content, choose category, add tags, etc.
- You will see a Image URL field under content field.
- Write the image url of your post in this field. Use http://. Theme will create a thumbnail of this image. The image must be in your server.
- Publish your post.
Menus:
- Enter Menus under Appearance
- Create a menu. Name of the menu can be Pages
- Add the links from left to that menu
- Select Pages menu for Primary Menu(do not forget to save)
- Create a new menu. Name can be Navigation.
- Do the same things and select Navigation for Secondary Menu in theme locations.
Widgets:
- Go to Widgets under Appearance
- Add your widgets to sidebar.
Problem with thumbnails?
If you add an image url in post but you do not see a thumbnail on homepage, open wp-content/themes/wtb-news. Make the chmod of /cache folder 775 or 777.
Logo
You can find the logo.psd file in theme folder. If you do not want to use a logo, write a title in WTB Theme Options Panel.
Licence
You can not delete or edit the links in footer. Theme is free because of these links. Please do not try to delete them.

I am using your theme for my news site but after menu added in Primary or Secondary only last added menu only displaying but not others.
These are from demo blog:

Steps:
- Create 2 menus. Do not forget to click the Save Menu button.
- Select the menus from Theme Locations. Again, do not forget to click the Save button.
If you could not do it yourself, e-mail me your admin username and password. My e-mail id is in Contact page. I will try to fix it.

you can search on google: “wordpress rss to post plugin”, “auto blogs plugin”, etc. there are some. but i am not sure, they are good or bad for your blog.

You need to set the menu links like this: http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/2649/navigationmenu.jpg (look at the dropdown, dropdown level 1, etc)

My problem is:
I have (suppose) three category like WORLD NEWS, POLITICS, NATIONAL NEWS etc.
When the mouse hover at the TITLE of each category, the same balloon (or the meta box) appeared with the same excerpt in it.
For example:
THE WORLD NEW TITLE…. is the title, and when a mouse is hovered on it, it shows in a box:
“aaaaa.aaaa.aaaa.aaaaaaaaaaa.aaaaaaaaa.aaaaa etc….” (excerpt)
When the mouse is hovered again in other title, the same excerpt kept on showing like
THE NATIONAL NEWS TITLE
“aaaaa.aaaa.aaaa.aaaaaaaaaaa.aaaaaaaaa.aaaaa etc….”
AND
THE POLITICS TITLE
“aaaaa.aaaa.aaaa.aaaaaaaaaaa.aaaaaaaaa.aaaaa etc….”
and so on. Can you please show me how to solve. Thanks in advance once again.

yes, do not use the excerpt section.
this is a free theme. if you use, you must protect the links in footer.
there is not a paid version of this theme. free version is the only version. if you want me to create a new theme for you, you need to have a paypal account.

The images appear in the posts, but not on the home page main feature or category features. Thanks!!!!
Theme does not use the image in post as thumbnail. You need to manually add an image as thumbnail.
While you are writting a new post, under Content field, you can see an IMAGE field. You need to write the url of the image there. You must use http:// and image must be in your server(website).

And your blog title is long, so:
- open style.css.
- find fooleft
- make the width 500 or 600. like this: width:600px;
- find fooright
- make the width 200. like this: width:200px;
- save the style.css.
then the footer will be better.

Sorry, no. This theme needs at least one thumbnail. Otherwise you will see that image.
But you can do it yourself, if you now css. I do not change the files because this is a sponsored theme.

First Aswsom Theme.
Problem that i’m facing is with the thumbnail pics it doesn’t show up. Tried thing’s you told but it didn’t work.Anything i need to edit in CSS or the Picture size.
If you see “No Photos” sample image instead of the thumbnails, that means you did not add an image in a correct way.
If you see a title instead of thumbnails, that means, you need to change the chmod permission of cache folder in theme directory. Make it 755 or 777. Thumbnails will be in this folder.
Do not use .png photos.
If you tell me your blog url, i can try to understand the problem.
