    Thank you so much for allowing a free download, this theme is perfect! Can I ask, will the featured box appear automatically when I publish a post or what plug-in did you use for the Featured Posts Box that scrolls through in the big purple space at the top of the blog?

      you need to go to Appearance-Theme Options page and choose a category for that featured part. then the posts which published in that category will appear in that box.
