open the php file that you edited with notepad++ and choose Encoding/UTF 8 from top menu of notepad++ program. save the file.

if utf 8 did not work, try utf 8 without BOM.

like button: you can add it. just paste the facebook code in theme file.

please read the Installation file in zipped file. you need to use a custom field with the name thumb and picture url in value field.

yes, this are all free themes. you can use them in commercial works, too. but you can not sell them or remove the links in footers.

you should edit the style.css file but you need to know css for this.
