Lyricsy Wordpress Theme

Lyricsy is a nice lyrics wordpress theme created by Serhat Yolacan. Theme has a custom control panel. Theme works with wp 3.0.

Lyricsy Wordpress Theme Installation

  • Upload the lyricsy folder to wp-content/themes and activate it.
  • Upload the plugins and activate them.
  • Go to theme control panel.

Categories

  • Go to Categories and create categories with names like A, B, C, D, etc.
  • Then open achive.php and find the code is_category(array(1,2,3,4,5)
  • Delete 1,2,3,4,5 and write your category IDs.

Menus

Go to Menus and create your menu.

Nosidebar

If you do not want to use a sidebar in post, add a custom field with the name singletemplate and nosidebar as value while you are adding a new post.

Custom Fields

  • If you do not want to use sidebar: Custom Field Name: singletemplate Value: nosidebar
  • Thumbnail: Custom Field Name: thumbnail Value: URL of the picture
  • Album Name: Custom Field Name: album Value: Name of the album

    How to auto generate thumbnail not using Custom Fields?

      You need to use the custom field. There is not another choice for this theme.

      You may use timthumb.php but you must know that if you use timtumb script, you must add an image to all posts. Otherwise, yes theme not supports auto thumbnail feature.

      thee has an English language file. if you use the English wordpress version, theme will use the English language file automaticly.

      if theme does not work like that, please reply. i will ask to the author of the theme.

      Theme designed English and added Turkish languages support. If your wordpress is English, theme will shown english automatically. And if your language is not english, then open /languages/tr_TR.po with poedit and erase translated section and change them with your language. For example de_DE.po and de_DE.mo does german to your theme.
