   I love the look of this “Brochure Melbourne” blog theme.

   However, I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I want to use this theme for my Safari Business. Can the theme be altered to reflect Cape Town on the header and South Africa / Nature / Wildlife as a background?

     of course you can do it. just replace the bg_header.jpg and bg_top.jpg files with your pictures. these files are in /images folder in theme folder.

   My IT person advises me that this “Brochure Melbourne” Theme falls under WordPress.org that is not hosted by WordPress.

   Apparently this theme requires that I have own web hosting and a web developer to administer and update the features, etc…

   Is this correct?

     Yes, your IT person is right. You need to have a domain and a web hosting. But they are not expensive things. You can register a domain for $8-10/year and buy a webhosting for $4/month. You can buy them on godaddy.com, hostgator.com, etc.

     Do not worry about administration or updates. Register your domain, buy a web hosting. Install wordpress(http://wordpress.org/download/) and install the theme. It is very easy to use wordpress on your own web hosting.
